The Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) is the state agency responsible for administering and enforcing environmental regulations across Alabama, including key federal laws like the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Safe Drinking Water Act. Its mission is “to assure for all citizens of the State a safe, healthful, and productive environment,” overseeing everything from permitting and compliance to environmental monitoring and public outreach.

There was an AMAZING turnout for the ADEM Community Meeting on October 14th at 6:00pm at the Buckhorn High School cafeteria.
